Admissions

A brief orientation

Lumen
Christi High School
, through the partnership of St Benedict’s Parish, the Archdiocese of Anchorage, parents, students, and teachers, strives to provide a Christ-centered learning experience, based on the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, to all students in grades 7 through 12 who seek the benefits of a Catholic education.

A student’s application for admission to the School will be evaluated on the likelihood of the student’s success in achieving these benefits. Among the possible instruments for evaluation are the student's previous academic records and behavior records, and recommendations by pastors, principals, and teachers.

Applicants and parents will be interviewed. Talents, attributes, motivation, and special interests are also important because Lumen Christi seeks to accept students with well-rounded interests in life both inside and outside the classroom.

More information regarding Lumen Christi's policies can be found in the Parent Handbook.
