I was born in Columbus, Nebraska but my home has always been Anchorage. My parents decided to move to Alaska when I was 5 years old, a place my dad knew they would love and he was right. We love the beauty and adventure that Alaska has to offer.
My husband, James and I met in 1993 when he moved to Alaska with the United States Air force. He was a long way from home but he too, decided to make Anchorage his home and we got married in 1996. I was blessed to stay at home and raise our three daughters until our youngest daughter started second grade. Each of our girls began their faith-based education at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic school here in Anchorage and two of them are currently attending Lumen Christi.
In the fall of 2011, I decided to go back to work full-time and worked for a correspondence school in Anchorage. In 2014, I switched jobs and joined the Lumen Christi family as their Administrative Assistant. I am so happy to work in such a family like atmosphere, supporting this wonderful Catholic school.
