Classes: Theology 8, Drama Club Advisor

I always knew teaching would be my vocation, and after graduating from Alaska Pacific University with a degree in education, I started my teaching career at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Elementary School, where I fell in love with teaching the Catholic faith.  After a short stint in public school, I found my secondary roots at Lumen Christi High School. Since 2004, Lumen Christi has been my home and over the years, I have had the privilege of teaching General Math, Pre-Algebra, Language Arts and Theology. A fan of the arts, I’m also the Advisor for Lumen’s Drama Department and have directed 18 plays during this time as well!

In 2019, my husband and I adopted a beautiful baby boy.  After a short break to stay at home with our son Elliot, I’m back in a part time capacity, teaching 8th Grade Theology.  I am excited to share with our students the life of the Church, the lives of saints, the necessity of prayer, and practicing and living our faith openly in a world where to do so is a challenge.
